Comment from Donna Price Scotts Valley, CAover 1 year agoHORRIBLE choice of “HVAC” heat-AC units installed AND abhorrent customer service. The customer service was great in the beginning. We just learned from a local reputable certified HVAC company that we had to call in, that Andrew/ASAP put in over $15k (over $30 k between two units he installed on our property) of highly unserviceable Comfort Star units (we’ve also had two reputable local HVAC companies that service many brands tell us they never heard of Comfort Star brand) After 3 months without heat and numerous calls and pleas for assistance Andrew finally responded, supposedly found the issue the said he ordered the part & was going to overnight it. THAT WAS IN DECEMBER! We never heard from him again. We have, again, pleaded for help with numerous unanswered calls; he knows this house has had NO heat for months and that the entire unit has been down for months (plus the 2nd house he installed these units now have a unit down) We still haven’t even received a courtesy call back to answer; was the part really ordered; is the part unavailable? We finally had another HVAC Certified company do a service call and tell us the sad truth about these highly unserviceable Comfort Star units; they can be ordered online by anyone; he called the HVAC Certified parts company while on speaker phone and that company had never heard of Comfort Star brand.
